New Deal Cafe - Portland

This is a great spot for a family breakfast or brunch. The menu has lots of options to please just about everyone, and I am personally a big fan of the biscuits and gravy. This space is super accessible, very open with ramps and room to maneuver. Nice large restrooms. Outdoor and indoor dining options and a play space for kiddos. Booths and tables with chairs are available.

Really cute little neighborhood place, worth a stop if you are in the area. Seating was a little disorganized as the tables needed to be sanitized first and the staff were understandably busy with other things. The food was really great though, the potatoes were crispy and flavorful and I had the breakfast sandwich which had the most delicious toast. I can't explain it other than it was like grilled cheese bread that had eggs and bacon in the middle. Highly recommend! Generally worth a try!

I visited this restaurant for breakfast with a family member. The service was decent, but nothing exceptional. The food was average, and they offered free water. As for the prices...

I had a delightful and leisurely brunch on the back patio, which felt cozy and warm while still allowing fresh air to flow in from all sides. It created a very safe atmosphere. Three of us ordered egg scrambles, which we all enjoyed. However, for some reason, they couldn’t make omelettes—I'm not sure if it was due to a shortage of eggs or simply a lack of staff with the skills required to prepare them. The BLT sandwich was excellent, and the blueberry pancakes were equally impressive. The fried potatoes were the best I've ever had outside of my own kitchen. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We definitely plan to return!

The food is excellent! I really enjoy their bacon, and breakfast options are fantastic. I've dined here many times over the years. Their BLT sandwich paired with a side salad is amazing!
