Little Tap House - Portland

One of the best spots in Portland for food and beer, LTH truly stands out in a city filled with incredible dining options and craft brews. While they have around 14 taps—fewer than some other establishments—they excel at curating a selection of outstanding local beers from Portland’s top breweries. Even their few non-local drafts come from some of New England's finest craft breweries or select exceptional beers from farther afield. The food menu is diverse and consistently delicious, ensuring there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Additionally, the service here is exceptional, with friendly and attentive staff that enhance the dining experience. Do keep in mind, though, that this isn’t a hidden gem; it’s well-known among locals who frequent it. You might have to wait for a table, but the experience is well worth it.

This place had the best burger I've ever had in my life. Mac and cheese was very good too. Service was excellent... We sat outside... great for people watching ...highly recommend this place ...it is a little pricey but well worth it�

On our first night in Portland, we discovered a gem of a restaurant just a short walk from our hotel after a long day. We were incredibly fortunate to choose this place. Our experience was fantastic, starting with a warm greeting and continuing through to the server who took our payment. The atmosphere was both relaxing and refreshing, with great decor and an impressive menu. Gary ordered the brisket, while I opted for the fish and chips—both were delicious! The pickles were the best I’ve ever had. Gary enjoyed two local craft beers, and I appreciated the iced water served in a glass bottle that was left at our table. For dessert, we shared an orange fudge brownie topped with dulce de leche; it was so rich that we couldn’t finish it. The staff was impeccable, and the food was absolutely delightful. If we ever find ourselves back in Portland, we’ll definitely return to the Little Tap House. In the meantime, you should definitely check it out! Thank you to everyone!

Excellent beer selection on tap as well as fantastic mixologists behind the bar. Food is always world class. Great service, and a very romantic place to take your wife or to gather with friends. The Octoberfest celebration today was perfect. The Hefe-Weiss beer made me think I was back in Bavaria. Prost!

This restaurant is fantastic! It has a lovely dimly lit ambiance, and the food is superb—almost like fine dining for a pub. There are plenty of craft beer options to choose from as well. I highly recommend it, especially if you’re staying at the Holiday Inn!
