Lemongrass Thai - Portland

The Thai food here is outstanding. If you're planning to eat in, it's a good idea to call ahead to check if they offer dine-in service, as the restaurant primarily focuses on takeout. I enjoyed the spicy noodles with shrimp, and I chose 'level 1' spice, which was the perfect amount of heat for me. I highly recommend it!

This was my first visit to this restaurant, and even though there was just one cook on duty, she was incredibly accommodating and ensured we enjoyed a delicious meal quickly. The drunken noodles were outstanding, and the pad Thai with chicken was equally tasty. I'm a big fan of pad kee mao, especially with all the veggies. The spice level is authentic too. Everything was so good!

The food here is delicious, fresh, and prepared to order. Currently, the restaurant primarily offers takeout, so the owner recommends calling ahead if you want to dine in (as of May 2022). The owner was charming, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

We stumbled on this place while we were in the neighborhood on a rainy, slushy day. It looks like a house, and the food tastes homemade. It is the best Thai food we've ever had. We got the Thai Noodles with Chicken (mild for the kids , the Yellow Curry (it is spicy , and an order is salad rolls. She does mainly takeout. If possible, call a day in advance since she works alone and doesn't do a lot of volume, but she is wonderfully nice and the food is amazing. It is a special experience. It is worth it.

Shelly (the cook/owner) and the food were incredible. One of the best dining experiences I’ve had. And would recommend this restaurant to everyone I can. Will definitely be back when I visit Portland again. Hours can be weird, so best to call ahead to see when she’s open. Cash only.
