LA Calaca Comelona - Portland

Love this place. Delicious, authentic and thougtfully prepared food and a menu with a wide variety of choices. For summer dining the back patio is beautiful. My friends and I have a specially enjoyed Levanta Muertos (raise the dead), Nopales salad, fish tacos, extra super quesadillas with grilled veggies inside, and enchiladas morelianos.

For really good, high quality food &service), with dishes that go beyond the taqueria, to truly represent a fuller breadth of Mexican cuisine, eat here! Portland is very fortunate to have this place, in the heart of the city!

We sat out on the patio and it felt like you were on vacation. The staff was very polite and attentive. Loved the food. The enchiladas are amazing! If you haven't gone... GO!

La Calaca is our home away from home. We love all their dishes and the foods inspired from the chef's home region of Morelia. We always treat our out-of-town guests to the wonderful experience of La Calaca Comelona from the inspired, delicious food, to the family treatment and the unique decor. We highly recommend their Dia de los Muertos reservations-only dinner.

The food was amazing..drinks were strong. The decor was authentic and the service was great Will be going back alot
