Upon entering, my friend and I were warmly welcomed by the staff, instantly making us feel at home. They went out of their way to ensure we were satisfied with our food and that everything was to our liking. The cuisine is exceptional—honestly, the best curry I've ever tasted! Each dish has a delightful hint of spice, striking the perfect balance. The prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality you receive. The chefs not only prioritize taste but also pay great attention to presentation. The restaurant itself is charming, cozy, and impeccably clean. I wholeheartedly recommend this place!

The best curry I've ever had! It’s honestly the main reason I travel to Portland. I wish they would open a location in California so I wouldn't have to keep flying up here. Be sure to order the Kale Doria with beef sauce—definitely not chicken or vegetables. It must be beef. It's baked at an incredibly high temperature, so it comes out piping hot, and each bite is a delicious, cheesy delight. While the toppings are optional, they're completely unnecessary. The restaurant has recently moved to a smaller space, which is unfortunate because the previous location was beautifully decorated and now it shares a building. However, the owner is just as cheerful and attentive as ever—20/10 for service!

During a recent trip to Portland, I stumbled upon this amazing restaurant and enjoyed it so much that I ate there twice in just three days. The Kale Katsu with beef sauce was delicious and full of flavor, and the owner and staff were incredibly welcoming! I would highly recommend this spot to anyone in the area or visiting Portland.

Amazing, authentic curry, and EXTREMELY delicious; absolutely perfect. 1000/10 would recommend and this is coming from someone who ate Japanese curry their whole life!

Wow. I haven't had Japanese curry that didn't come out of a box in years. It's so good and fresh. Loved the beef curry. Katsu is good too for being baked. Love the red pickles. Very pleasant food. Not really a formal or big group restaurant, small store front and you order before you sit down.
