John Street Cafe - Portland

The food is delicious at this restaurant. It may take some time to be prepared, but everything is cooked to order. The wait is definitely worth it.

Came here for Sunday brunch. Food was amazing bacon cooked perfectly, French toast fluffy, bacon, avocado, and cheese omelette was hearty and delicious. Tea was served in a personal teapot, not a huge thing but was very cute. Hot chocolate was homemade and very good. Both entrees were served with orange slices which was a really cute detail as well. All in all, one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in a while. Bravo!!

Place is very cute! Mimosas were delicious Had the French toast with eggs and bacon which were so good! Will Def be back soon.

Decent little cafe. Spectacular orange juice. The food was decent. Got the migas special with green chilies and tortillas and it was good. A little overcooked but quite decent. The service was tip notch. Short wait great service and decent food. 8 of 10 will return.

WOW. Lived here two years and always wondered why there was a line out the door. Now I know! Funky 90’s cafe vibe with INCREDIBLE food and GIANT portions. Service was pleasant and good came out in a timely manner. I hung out for a bit having a latte and just enjoyed watching everyone’s delight while I did some work using the WiFi : thanks! Bringing the family back… as soon as I finish the lefties…
