Jade Teahouse - Portland

We visited for the first time after a friend told us about it. The restaurant is spacious and the terrace seating is cozy and has a beautiful atmosphere. When you enter the restaurant, you will see delicious looking cookies and colorful Macaroons in a glass case. We had Chili Noodle and Pad Khing Pork Belly. The noodle dish was not as spicy as it looked, so it was easy to eat, and the pork Belly had a strong taste, but the vegetables and pig sucked the taste very well and went well with the rice. The weather was pleasant today, so we could have a great and cozy lunch outside the seat.? There were many other dishes that looked delicious, so I will try the noodle soup when it gets colder.

Absolutely love this place! The pig bell in the panang sauce was crazy, so we're the egg rolls, truffle friars. The terrace is cold and cozy.

I have lived in this neighborhood for 14 years and was only in Jade a handful of times. The food is just okay and the service is always very slow for the price, I feel there are much better options out there. During my last visit, I ordered myself and waited for it to happen. The food lasted 25 minutes and they were not busy at all. I had to go to the counter and ask if my order was ready. They kept me waiting for even longer because they had to make my shrimp salad rolls. In all fairness I have 4 reels and they were pretty good! The peanut sauce is delicious. The sesame beef was good, but I had to hack it in bite size. Klebriger rice clumped too much and was hard to eat. Chicken Papaya Salat was Bland, and the cabbage came in a big hunk. I had to hang it myself, which was a bunch of extra work. The Macaroons were delicious! I have raspberry, pistachios, salted caramel and passion fruit. Salted caramel was tasted, but the rest was good. The family that runs Jade seems nice, but for $50 I don't feel that Jade is worth it.

Jade is our favorite restaurant in our neighborhood? The salad rolls and the chicken Satay are so delicious, fresh and fill! Your menu is extensive and they have many delicious options for food. The service is really nice and she prep the food pretty fast. The outdoor session is great on a sunny day. 10/10 recommended!

Year after year the kitchen consistently turns out reliable Asian food. The tea selection remains the best in town. Each pot is steeped to order and never served with floaters or bags or DIY .
