Henry's 12th Street Tavern - Portland

Seems like an unlimited selection of beers. Good food, large variety of offerings. Chloe was an attentive, friendly and informative server. Comfortable atmosphere.

The food was good. However, the service was bot the best. My husband and I went with my 7 yr old niece and 16 yr old son. They put us upstairs in the corner and essentially forgot us, we had a hard tine getting our waitress to refill our drinks or to get us water, or bring silverware.

Cheese curds and a mac n cheese burger! the first order when I came to portland was to get a good food. so we are located near the hotel and landed on this site. loved the inner, casual, but not too elegant and not too bare like. burger was perfect and everything was well seasoned. even the makkaroni and cheese on the burger was seasoned, but the aromen together were not too much.

Great eating, atmosphere was relaxed and exciting at the same time. while I was sitting near the bar area, I could enjoy a conversation with friends and while sitting outside on the terrace I was in the position to do the same, only difference was the music a little louder. the host, server and manager were all very attentive to the restaurant and they could really say it. try it if they are in the opposite. they will not be disappointed.

Great tavern vibe and feel. They have over 100 craft and domestic beers on tap, so there's something for everyone. Food menu is decent with plenty of options. Atmosphere in the bar is perfect for sporting events unless you are with minors which, due to state law will not allow you in or allow you to be eligible for happy hour. Only downside, is no TVs in the dining room for sporting events, which is not typically a bad thing, just not kid friendly on gameday. All and all I would recommend any day other than gameday.
