Flew The Coop - Portland

It’s definitely a better experience when you can enjoy the food at the trucks. The food can get a bit soggy when you order for takeout, but it’s still quite good. Their fried chicken sandwich is one of my favorites, and the waffle fries are amazing!

Flew the Coop is always fresh and tasty!! I love their Nashville Hot; oh and dont forget the Mac! Youre gonna want that.

This sandwhich is easily one of the best things Ive ever eaten. It was incredible. Everything youd want in a hot fried chicken sandwich. The fries were great, too. Didnt need any dipping sauce, they were super-tasty without any help. Sauce wouldve just gotten in the way.

Probably wouldnt order again. The Frick’n Chick’n Sandwich is sweet, slaw and pickles. The mac has 0 flavor. Best part were the Garlic Herb Fries

However, the real standout for me was the coleslaw. I tend to be picky about vegetables in general, and coleslaw is no exception. But this one was exceptional: it consisted solely of crunchy cabbage tossed in a tangy dressing that had an unexpected kick of heat, which I really appreciated. I noticed that other reviews didn’t mention the flavor of the slaw, so I wanted to highlight it here for anyone curious. It might just be the best coleslaw I've ever had!
