Campana - Portland

Absolutely amazing. Food was unbelievable, the entire experience was excellent. The staff was great, every member of the team was friendly and genuinely cared that we had a good experience. My wife wanted a drink but did not know what it was and shejust described the kind of drink she wanted it to be and the bartender invented her a drink and it was perfect. Also gave herthe recipe for next time. Can't wait to go back.

This place is abnormally fabulous! The pasta is perfectly cooked, freshly made, and over the top tasty. The service is terrific. Can't wait to go back!

The best puttanesca I ever had! and I was in hundreds of Italian restaurants all over the world my man is a fat Italian who lives in a thin. the noodles were fresh, perfectly boiled al dente and expertly presented. the sose had the correct amounts of capern, seasoned, sardelle and long time shimmered rusins. I thought about this meal the last three days! the service was excellent and the host was so inviting. the server that we proclaim and enjoy their craftsmanship (in contrast to so many places we have seen lately, my rating on xico) and really appreciated by patrons. let them have a wealthy tip to demonstrate our appreciation. Wow! Last stop on our way back to Chicago. Best meal we had the whole time. Cocktails scena uno) very refreshing after hiking all day. Food was great too. Grilled octopus on fresh veggies absolutely delish. You gotta go here. Best part service was welcoming and good conversation.

Our visit to this place was a pleasure. Without the preciousness of many other restaurants in Portland, Campana made my wife very happy with a bright, flavourful heap of vegetables in the excellent pasta a la Norma, while I ate the best-cooked octopus I've had in the city. We had charming conversations with the manager, the waiters, and even the chef at the restaurant. We'll head back there, soon.
