Blue Moon Tavern Grill - Portland

Great place, beer, atmosphere.Definitely a tavern experience, large dining and bar areas, 2 pool tables, 2 shuffle boards, and a fireplace.Team and I head there ~once a week.

Only saw the waitress twice to order our food and to deliver the food… the Food was very sub par! The horseradish was so strong on the burger you immediately spit the bite out. The waitress NEVER came back to even ask about the food. Just to ask if I need a box. After telling her how gross the burger was she said yes sometimes it can have a bite to it???what??? As a neighboring Hotel, I will personally tell my guest not to eat at this establishment. Very sad that this is a mcmenamins.

We were seated quickly but our food order was very slow due to many Timbers fan eating before the game.Vegetarian options: All their burgers can be made vegetarian. Plus the hummus platter is a great option.

Yeah it's good food and drinks. Careful of the greasy haired bouncer with the tattoos cause he will take his bad day out on you.

First time tonight. Came with family members and elderly parents. Was thinking this place was a fun. We got our food in a reasonable time. Granted waitress forgot two drinks until we reminded her. Things were going good until one of the servers propped the front door open. It is a cold night in Dec. Apparently, some time before we arrived, the staff had turned on the fireplace and made the place smokey. They placed our party right next to the smokey fire pit. Plus one of the servers was super rude when we closed the door since we got cold. So yeah turned a nice experience into a lame one. If they wanted to get rid of tue smokey smell, they needed to remove the remnants of the fire in the pit. I also saw someone fiddle with the fire pits hood looks like they forgot to open the vent fully.
