Baja Fresh - Portland

This place is great for one reason. The guy who runs it keeps out the rifraf. Which makes him a bit hard nosed. But he runs this place like a well oiled machine. At mall 205 where every time you turn around someone is asking for change. Service here is great. Employees who work here have worked here for more years than I can remember. I been coming here 10 years. Just goes to show that a strong leader gets excellence for results.

Food was pretty good but manager was awful, rude and extremely disrespectful, we will not be back to this location. Ice machine shoot was disgusting so we didn't get ice. UPDATE ! newer owners and much improved since my last review. Food was very satisfying !

I typically avoid chain restaurants unless there's no better option available. However, Baja Fresh is not your typical chain. They serve generous portions of extremely fresh ingredients in every dish. I'm really enjoying their carnitas bowl with black beans and mango salsa—it’s so delicious that I can’t help but salivate just thinking about it! Each meal is enough for two, often leading to late-night cravings afterward. It's so good that you end up eating until you're too full, and then you find yourself going back for more.

We organized catering for 40 people in our office, and the food was incredible! There was more than enough, so you can trust their recommended portion sizes. I highly recommend them and will definitely be using their services again.
