Bagel Land - Portland

Haven't gone here for years because the owner and employees seemed so disgruntled. Tried it again today, same vibe. Plus, I asked for a bagel sandwich with no cucumbers and got cucumbers but no cream cheese. The bagel, dry as it was, was pretty good though.

This place has had the best bagels on PDX for the past 30+ years. The differnece is every since Ben sold it the new owners don't know how to make enough product for the day.You shouldn't be out of bagels at 10am. I can't count how many times I've come in to get bagels and they are out of the majority of the flavors. You're leaving money on the table. Every time I am in there I watch people walk in and walk out because you're out of what they want.This never happened when Ben was the owner. They also skimp on the cream cheese now and the coffee is just bad.If you can get the bagel you want it's the best but I'm alsmot at the point of never going in again because they are out so often

The bagels are so good! If I lived closer I'd probably be here every day
