Habi Sushi - Porterville

We always love this place. Service is always great, food is always great. Today we stayed longer visiting with a friend after our meal and the waitress surprised us by bringing out this adorable treat (made from oranges and whipped cream) for our kids so they would have fun while the grown ups were talking. It was such a sweet gesture and made the kids so happy. Thank you to the artist/chef and waitress for making our family feel extra special! Kid-friendliness: They went above and beyond to make it kids feel welcome. Also gave them little plastic chopstick helpers to train them to use chopsticks properly.

The quality of sushi and rolls was amazing. The price is good, very reasonable. A lot of tables and seats available.

Hidden sushi treasure. You wouldn't expect a small town sushi shop hours from the ocean to have excellent sushi, but it is so. This place has the best sushi everrrrr.

Good sushi. Wasabi is a little bit weak. Very dark inside, needed a flashlight to read the menu. Nice ginger, if you ask for extra.

My son brought us here when we came into town to visit him. Let me just say that they take pride in their sushi. You can see and taste the difference. Then their soup was to die for. Definitely recommend any sushi lover. The portions are worth it.P.S. The Miso soup was phenomenal.
