The Peppered Cupcake - Porters Neck

Decided on my vacation to take a walk and find this gem. GPS took me there. But unfortunately, the vending machine didn't take my much-used credit card. Fortunately, Tabitha, the owner, was there and she politely came out to assist. Ten minutes later, I walked out happy as a lark. It was only a few minutes back to the condo and I popped the berry cupcake in the microwave for 10 secs and had it gone in less than 5 minutes. Very worth the price and effort to buy it. Quite tasty!

I was surprised walking into a seemingly legitimate storefront to find that this location is only a vending machine within the storefront, not the actual bakery. There are no actual employees. If you want the real deal, you need to go to the other location :

Definitely get the Peppered flavor. It's was my favorite out of all the different ones we tried. All were delicious. They are not overly sweet. There is a nice balance of flavor that will appeal to adults and kids. The flavor selections change daily. Cupcakes like Taro and Peppered may not attract some, but I can assure you they are absolutely wonderful tasting. I recommend you give the more uncommon flavors a try.

The best cupcakes I have ever had and it is not even close. These cupcakes are on another level. The banana pudding cupcake which is only available on Saturdays is mind blowing ridiculous. It is better than regular banana pudding and one of the best desserts I have ever had. All of the flavors are great but my favorite are the flavors that come with warm compotes or fresh pepper jellies. The butter cream that the chef uses is so good?. The chef is obviously extremely talented and has a very unique ability to develop divine flavors.This is a must try no matter where you live.

Was so excited I love sweets , however these cupcakes are a complete waste of money and calories. Dry, barely sweet whip cream frosting yuk ! 5 bucks a cupcake a grocery store has better! If you have any kind of palate go elsewhere!
