Apple Annie's Bake Shop - Porters Neck

We have gotten my daughter’s birthday cakes here for the past 3 years. We are never disappointed. They are hands down some of the best cakes ever. They do an excellent job on decorating them as well. The store always smells delicious it’s very interesting. I have also had some of the pastries as well. You can’t go wrong. Love, Love, Love!!

Anything that doesn't have frosting here is delicious and I really do like this bakery. I bought a rum cake for Christmas because I thought the frosting would be different, but it tasted like shortening and there was little rum taste. I've noticed this taste in the cupcakes too.

Usually love this store, but on my most recent visit I walked in and noticed someone was talking with one of the cashiers and a lady (who I assume is one of the managers/owners) after she had received her order, and after taking a moment to look around I got in line to be helped. I waited for a few minutes and told myself I would wait for one more, then I would leave. There were at least 2 other associates working at the front of the store so I figured someone would help me, but no one bothered to while they continued their conversation and I did just end up walking out. Disappointed me a lot and I felt as if my service was insignificant and not wanted.

I ordered a cake last minute but the staff was so pleasant and accommodating and made my birthday!! Got a custom cake and I was just how I wanted <3 and the flavor was amazing 10/10
