La Bergerie - Portel-des-Corbières

This restaurant is located in a beautiful area of the Corbières Mountains in southern France, not far from the Mediterranean Sea. Craggy Hills, old jaws, a small river are on the plot and then go ugly Cart Track! The restaurant is remote and elegant and quiet. The low-priced menus are excellent. The Amuse Bouche was excellent, the first course made beautiful and the main course more run of the mill with a large dessert to finish the meal. The service was friendly, but immaculate. The Lastours Rose was excellent.

The well priced menus are good to excellent. The "amuse bouche" was outstanding, the first course nicely done and the main course more run of the mill with a great dessert to end the meal. The service was friendly but spotty. The Lastours Rose was excellent.
