Anvil Inn - Portarlington

A lovely clean pub , however we felt the atmosphere was lacking. Lots of empty space and I’m sure when there is a crowd it possibly is good fun! We enjoyed our food and drinks here. Staff were also friendly!

Love the Anvil ,great place for lunch they only serve until 3 or 4pm but omg the food v good ,ive had the roadt turkey and ham ,steak sandwich ,club sandwich , and very good value for money generous portions , they have different specials daily .friendly staff

Had lunch and a few pints with a friend. The Guinness was very good and enjoyable. The beef stew was excellent. Tracy looked after us ensuring everything was perfect. The fires made for a cozy atmosphere. I can recommend.

Really a lovely place, great drink, food and staff.
