El Rancho - Portales

Everytime we go the food is okay.. the service is friendly enough. You never have to wait for an open table. But this time we stayed a little late, and I guess they didn't like that, so when they offered the fried bread and we accepted it to go, we didn't think they'd drop their quality just to get us out. Fried on the outside and raw dough on the inside. On every. Single. Piece. Will be going back to give them their uncooked food and will be the last time to give them a chance. Sad that the standards here are so low and you have to drive 30mins to 2hrs away for decent food.

Good food, waitresses are new and it takes a minute to get what you want but worth the wait

What a great disappointment! We loved El Rancho, but the service went down. How sad!

Apparently they close at 7:00 and not at 8:00, have not answered the phone between these hours. What has been regrettable since they miss in time?
