Beijing Take Out - Portage

My family and I have made this a restaurant for busy nights and never disappointed. Eating is always hot, order is always perfect, delivery is always earlier than estimated and the staff is phenomenal. You have a large menu and tons of options. Very recommended for anyone who ever searches for Chinese food in the area.

Probably hands down the best crab rangoons, steamed dumplings, and pork egg rolls I’ve ever had in my entire life!!! Plus, they have some fantastic Pad Thai! The prices arent bad at all for the quantity and quality you receive. I give this place a 4/5 instead of a 5/5 because the pad Thai needs definitely more sauce and the chicken is a little rubbery tasting. But all in all this place is pretty good! We will be ordering again!

My one treat for myself when celebrating a positive event in my life or treating myself after a bad day, is Chinese food. Important context because I try out new Chinese places pretty often as I travel. I've lived in Portage for a few years now and have frequented Beijing the entire time. They always greet me with smiling faces and are very prompt with making my orders. I haven't taken advantage of it often, but they also deliver which is pretty awesome for a small shop. I'm a fairly picky eater and I'm used to getting my orders back incorrect *cough cough* looking at you South Haven McDonald's) but Bejing NEVER once have they made a mistake with my order or gave me a final product I wasn't pleased with. As food prices have risen at restaurants all over the area post-pandemic, their prices have stayed relatively stable and very fair. I can't recommend them enough, whether to a casual foodie or a chinese cuisine aficionado.

I ordered 2 of their lunch menu items. The orange chicken and general tso with chicken fried rice was awesome! It was my first time going there and definitely won't be my last!

Originally I wanted Jade Garden, but found out they are closed on Sundays. I figured I would give Beijing a try and did a pick up order. I went in and ordered, staff was very friendly, and they had the food ready in at 10 minutes. Everything was fresh and delicious, but it was a little pricer compared to some other places. I will definitely go back again. *Note: If you place an order through their own actual website, their prices are higher than if you just go in and order that is why I gave 4 instead if 5 stars.
