Le Chalut - Port-Vendres

I have never seen more bad service. Arrogance . Left Le Chalut because they dont have time too us.Stay away.

Our first visit for a few years and fortunately the Chalut after a long time is unobtrusive again on top form where things seemed badly slipped. We were very happy to find the restaurant back to its old self and offer exceptional value for money...with the fixed price lunch menu. We were impressed by the careful Covid protocols. Service was very attentive and there is a very large selection of dishes on the fixed price menu that changes every day - what could you want more?

This is a wonderful Fish restaurant for an especially demanding French clientele. We were happy enough to enjoy very fresh and beautifully cooked fish/shellfish, including half a lobster each, followed by an excellent Cafe Gourmand including fine pastry work would be hard to find... in much more expensive places.

I visited this restaurant in July 2021. I was warmly welcomed. Good selection of dishes on fish dishes emphasized. Good selection of wines. The staff was polite, helpful and professional. The restaurant is located at the Quais The food I ordered, fish, tasty. French Mediterranean....Local wine was excellent. This area is famous for large white wines. Prices affordable comparable to other local restaurants. You will enjoy your visit.
