Jesus Is Lord - Port Richey

Husband I just had dinner here. The warm chips salsa were delivered promptly to our table. Salsa was delicious and not very spicy. We both had the #6 combo meal, his with chicken I had ground beef. The enchilada sauce was more like a mild beef flavored gravy. Not at all Mexican in flavor. The beans rice were ok. If I had a blindfold on never tasted a crunchy tortilla I would never have known I was eating a Mexican meal. So in summary the food is tasty, plentiful inexpensive but doesn’t satisfy the yearning for Mexican flavors.

I'm not a big fan of Mexican food myself, but my husband being from San Diego loves it. I tried all kinds of Mexican food and restaurants, even in Playa del Carmen and I must admit this is the first time that I left a Mexican restaurant liking the food. The shrimp tacos were AMAZING. I went with my co workers and one of my co workers did not like her drink and they immediately changed it for another one. The server was awesome, unfortunately I do not remember his name. I will definitely go back and take my husband!

Picked this restaurant for Taco Tuesday while in town with my husband and 5 year old. Definitely was not disappointed, with the 3 tacos for $4.50 special which fed my daughter with leftovers. My husband had fajitas and I had the chicken chimichanga, plus we received chips and salsa as soon we sat down. All the food was delicious, food and service was prompt, the server was nice, and the ambiance and decor was fun. I liked that the chimichanga was actually 2 medium sized chimichangas versus one large one as it made it easier to stop when full after one.

This place is the (BOMB) first visit, had chicken tacos my wife had the combination plate also the chips and salsa we're awsome the food was fresh and the portions were good the restaurant was clean and with great prices will definitely be back
