Bidrage med feedbackFor film Tavern style food, the burger was very good. The bread was a bit thick, and if they had threatened and roasted, it would have been money. The bacon was excellent. It was a double with American cheese. The pulp was sharp outside and the dough had a good pull. The salt took it off.
However, I have a few complaints: 1. The cinema isn't very big. I've been to larger theaters, and it felt a bit cramped, especially since the seats fill up quickly. 2. The ticket prices are on the steep side—not exorbitant, but definitely higher than average. This is Vail, Colorado, so I expected some price hikes; however, given the high ticket and food prices, I expected a complete level of service. 3. The last issue, which I think many people would agree with, is that they don't bring your food to you. This could be resolved if you arrive early to order; your food might be ready before the movie starts. Even so, I feel that this should be part of the service. Back home, I’ve been to theaters that charge less for tickets, have larger screens, offer a similar selection of food, and provide friendly service by delivering your order to your seat. For how much they charge here, I believe they should at least offer food delivery so you don’t have to leave the theater or miss parts of the movie you’ve paid for.
This is a lovely, upscale movie theater. The screen is medium-sized, but the sound system is top-notch. The food and drinks are excellent, and the chairs are quite comfortable. However, we would have preferred the popcorn to be less salty—perhaps we just didn't order it correctly.
I enjoy visiting this theater because the experience is better than most, especially when it comes to the variety of food and drinks offered, as well as the friendly staff. However, it could really use some renovations. For instance, the chairs are noticeably worn and in need of significant updates. Considering the premium prices, these issues should be addressed. Overall, it remains a great place to watch a movie, just a short walk from anywhere in Vail Village or Lionshead.
