The Youthful Vegan - Port of Spain

Disappointing. Got there before midday but there was no cooked food available.

We was so disappointed. All the reviews were great so I moved mountains to get there. We took 3 buses and walked in the rain. We arrive around 1:45 pm on Tues and to our surprise there was no cooked food. The only food available was prepackaged and in the refrigerator or freezer. We didn't have time to reheat as we were about to fly out. We opted for dessert since we were there. A few of our cookies were burnt on the bottom and the chocolate banana muffins had a whole slice of banana in it. The banana is usually blended in so I get feel like we got what was available on a day that people stop cooking early. It was okay but we have had way better vegan desserts. We were visiting Trinidad and will be back soon but will not go through the trouble to visit again.

This place is fantastic! It's hands down the best vegan food in Trinidad. Her frozen selection is amazing!

The vegan meals are delicious, and the host is wonderful. They are always willing to accommodate small requests from customers.

I don't follow a vegan diet, but I was pleasantly surprised by the vegan quiche, and the food overall was excellent.
