Bidrage med feedbackThis is a great store to shop at. The store is clean bright and very well stocked, but it is the staff at this location that put it above all other places to shop. Everyone is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. And I want to give a shout out to Ken the butcher. Thrifty's meat department is above and beyond all of the other grocery outlets and Ken does a fantastic job of filling my custom orders. This is definitely a store that you want to sign up for the digital flyer.
The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced in a grocery store....I almost felt threatened...I tried to get a employees name to complain about his ridiculous bad service, and, this is what he said my name is NONE of your business !!then,I demanded the managers who was standing beside him guess what?? The manager's name was ALSO none of my business.... Directly from her mouth I wanted the general managers name, and actually had to tell them that I would not leave without it,and, that they would have to call the police.....this is what I ACTUALLY had to do to get his name....I went back the next week, and the general manager, who , I guess, does not believe in the customer comes 1st, basically blew me off ...a few people have suggested going to head office, and perhaps the better business bureau....it may be simply a better idea to AVOID garbage like this and hit the Safeway in the hill.they have WAY better prices, and I have actually seen REAL signs of sincerity from staff....I actually witness a manager there, who, actually gave me her name, personally take care of a dog until SPCA came and rescued it .. I also chatted with a regional director at save on foods....she said there was no excuse for the behaviour at thriftys.
Went to maple ridge Trifty's closed down. Went to Pt Moody they wouldn't honor the sale price I didn't argue just left
I actually drove all the way from maple ridge to this location because of their meat department. Best boneless maui ribs!
It's clean and the staff is friendly. The prices are abhorrent and I've been seeing them creep up with price increases every couple of months. More and more I find myself walking through and buying less and less things, as the prices just don't make sense. I love the scones in the bakery section but in just a few months they've gone from $5.99 to $7.50 for a pack of 6. On the bright side I'm eating healthier without these temptations.
