Bidrage med feedbackHenry's is a hidden treasure in a region where excellent dining options are few and far between. The restaurant is operated by a couple: Jasmin manages the front of house while Henry works his magic in the kitchen. With his classical training and extensive experience, Henry's skill is evident in every dish. Everything is prepared from scratch with remarkable attention to detail. My wife and I have sampled most of the menu, and we have consistently enjoyed our experiences. One important note: reservations are required to dine here.
I had a delightful experience at Henry's Kitchen. Although there was a wait for the food, it was understandable since everything is made from scratch by Chef Henry. The service was attentive, and the staff member was very helpful in recommending dishes. The beef and pasta were excellent. I look forward to returning to try more of their pasta and the goat cheese.
Based on my experience with the French cuisine at this restaurant, I can confidently say it rivals many pricier options in the greater Vancouver area. The Duck Confit was complemented by a delicious variety of vegetables and liver pâté, and the Beef Bourguignon was equally impressive. We rounded off our meal with a cheesecake topped with brandied blueberries, which was a lovely light dessert. While the service was a bit slow, it is understandable given their small staff and the fact that every dish is made to order. Be sure to make a reservation for a seat!
It was amazing we could find and eat such delicious pasta in Port Moody. This hidden French and Italian pasta restaurant located on St. John's Street has street parking. <br/ <br/ We walked into the restaurant without any customers. A server seated us right away. Her service was great knowing that it was our first time to eat here and letting us know what was special and what we should try. We ordered mussels with white wine, tomatoes and herbs as appetizers and our main dishes were Penne Alfredo and Linguine Pescatora. Penne Alfredo was just a simple dish of penne with white creamy sauce and Parmesan cheese, but OMG! It was extraordinarily delicious! Chef Henry could cook this simple dish so well that I could 100% guarantee it is hard to find such a good simple dish in Greater Vancouver. Linguine Pescatora was full of seafood (shrimps, mussels, clams, scallops, and calamari in a light spicy tomato sauce. The seafood was fresh (not frozen ones and the texture of linguine was firm and chewy. Everything was irresistible. <br/ <br/ We would love to visit this restaurant and try other dishes in the near future. It was worth a trip to come all the way to Port Moody and eat the pasta here. (This pasta restaurant was originally located in Vancouver West. .
Henry’s Kitchen is a humble French Italian restaurant located in the heart of Port Moody. I came here for a nice evening out with my boyfriend and his family and we absolutely loved our experience here.
