Rose Diner and Bar - Port Melbourne

It's really not a review of the restaurant because we never went there. I would not recommend it after today's experience. They rang two hours before our confirmed reservation through Open Table to saying they weren't open on Mondays. However their website advertises 7 day trading...... Pretty poor really!!! We were lucky to get a reservation at Uncle in St Kilda instead and had a great meal.

We enjoyed lunch in a group of four. The food exceeded expectations - the pulled pork and hand cut chips were excellent, as was the wine list. Service was friendly, slow at times but very genuine. For a casual lunch, highly recommended

Rose Diner is the magical living room you wish you had. So, if you don't have that place, you'll love Rose. Stopped in with friends after a yoga retreat, and found the staff (Paul) and ambiance like a long time friend. Totally worthy of a return visit

Friday night tea with the kids, glad it was no problem for the staff! Will definitely return another night x

The staff at Rose is very friendly and accommodating, and the food is absolutely delicious - the pulled pork burger, farmhouse breakfast, waffles, milkshakes, best mushroom burgers ever!!! Just can't stop, must must must visit!
