Winkys - Port Macquarie

This cafe is a hidden gem. The outdoor seating is surprisingly comfortable. I only intended to stop for a coffee, but ended up trying their scones. Wow, they were huge! Served warm with jam and cream, they filled the entire plate. Absolutely delicious. Although I didn't have room for lunch, I will definitely be back. Great job, ladies.

My wife and I had previously visited Winky's when it was located on Clarence Street. However, after trying it out twice at their newer locations, I must say that there has been a noticeable decline in both the quality of food and service. From incorrect orders to overcooked eggs and bland coffee, there were several disappointments. It's unfortunate, but they will need to make a lot of improvements before I consider returning.

Yesterday was the first time to enjoy this caffe! a local economic consultant met us at winkys! as happy as it is a place where we would not normally think of going! the coffee was rich, hot and tasty! bacon and eirolle! was just flat out of the dust! I ordered the best juice I had for years! fresh pineapple and loaded with ginger! it was the bomb! the place is very clean and well presented. sit inside and outside undercover! all staff are very friendly and service is fast! prices are very affordable, so we will be back! So I really can't justify all the bad reviews written about this place! it's great! Go and find out for yourself!

We noticed the sign outside advertising a chef and barista, but unfortunately, we only saw it after we had already placed our order. When we received our coffee, it was overcooked with burnt milk and we couldn't even drink it. The food was also unsatisfactory and unappetizing.

Went here as we hadn't been there before. My daughter had a tradie roll, it still had the rind on the bacon which my daughter choked on, we had to ask for cutlery, which you would think would automatically be given... My wrap came out,...no serviettes... It wasn't even busy but our meals didn't come out together at the same time.... Also saw the girl at sandwich bar not using gloves.... Sorry won't be back
