Scampi's Seafood Bar & Grill

Our favorite dining spot in Port used to be at its old location in the Marina. We used to reserve it for special occasions. However, that is no longer the case. The menu is now extremely limited and uninteresting. My go-to dish, the lemon sole, is no longer available, which is disappointing as it was the only place in Port that served it. Overall, our experience was underwhelming and we do not plan on returning anytime soon.

I had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant, and I was pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome extended to me and my dog. The food and wine were outstanding and surpassed my expectations. The steak was the best I have had in a long time. The staff was attentive and friendly. I will definitely be returning in the future.

We were staying in the Manta upstairs. At first when reading the menu outside the venue we reluctant to book because of the stated requirement of only booking online, no phone calls or walk in accepted (yes we are older) but then one night as...we walked out of our hotel Scampi's owner invited us in !!!. Very enjoyable meal, so glad we ended up trying it. Definitely would recommend

We visit Port regularly as my husband has close relatives there. We have lunch at Scampi's at least twice a year, so have eaten there many times over the years. We were very disappointed in the limited menu no prawns, crabs or scallops) and...no-one enjoyed their main course. The Seafoos Feast was unappealing...it seemed to be just entree dishes, again no prawns, crabs or scallops. The only really positive was that the chips were nice. We won't be returning.

Amazing seafood! The lemon sole was the best fish dish I have ever had! The fish spring rolls are a must try! The service was fantastic and the decor is lovely. Will definitely be back next time we’re in town.
