Bidrage med feedbackAs soon as we step foot in the restaurant the staff made us feel so welcome .The staff were very quick to offer us drinks no problem ordering food . The meals were huge you will never leave feeling hungry . overall excellent service very well run restaurant .I highly recommend Poco Loco I will return in the near future .
We arrived here in Port Macquarie for the weekend and made a last minute booking. So glad we did! The food was all so fresh and flavoursome. We had prawns, pizza and delicious guacamole. Do yourself a favour and give it a go. Staff were all so friendly too!
Had dinner at Poco Loco recently. All items on the menu were far too overpriced. The quality of the food for the price we paid per portion was disappointing. The chimichangas were good. The Mexican prawn entree though, had only 3 prawns along with a salad, for the price charged. Disappointing.
Each time my wife & I visit Port Macquarie we make sure we have a meal at this restaurant.Anyone who enjoys Mexican or Tex/Mex style food would not be disappointed with the quality & range of food at this establishment.Unfortunately, the owners have the restaurant up for sale as they seek a change in their lifestyle, but hopefully whoever decides to purchase the business will be astute enough to continue employing the chefs & other staff who have made this restaurant a 'must visit' in our opinion.
We have been holiday regulars of Poco Locos for almost 13 years, but sadly things seem to be going down hill in what used to be such a fun, great value, top quality restaurant. The portion sizes seem to be much smaller, there's not much available for dessert, and the prices are pretty full of themselves! We recently popped in just for dessert (we had skipped dinner after a late lunch), and when we told the waitress this she practically scoffed at us - and then turned to tell the owner "they're only here for dessert" like we were lesser citizens for the fact! And then the owner (who honestly should probably know us at least by face by now?) scoffed too! On a previous night a few weeks back, we had dined in with family also on holiday, and after deciding to share a pizza I asked my husband if he would like anything on the side..."fries or anything?" to which the waitress almost rudely snapped "you don't come to Mexican for fries!". I feel that fun, welcoming atmosphere it used to have has long gone. Such a shame. Oh, and $15 for what was basically a very small caramel custard dessert with a squirt of fake cream (!) is totally excessive. Really sad, Poco Loco used to be our favourite!
