The Chippy - Port Kennedy

Finally a fish and chip shop with FANTASTIC quality, everything tastes home made right down to the batter. This is also one of the first fish and chip shops which actually have chips that taste like potatoes other than grease (which is hard to find here in Australia). Curry sauce has a great taste to just like back home which people can’t do out of Australia so I was pleasantly surprised, and I’ve also found my love for crab sticks. If you haven’t give it ago! <br/ <br/ Service is exceptional as well, the owners are lovely and welcoming and also put up with us ordering at 7:45 (15 minutes before close)

Went in for the first time last night having been recommended The Chippy We ordered grilled fish (shark) and chips mushy peas and some extra chips .. the shark was perfect the mushy peas Were just like you get at home and the chips were...exactly as my mate said, they were the bomb.. loved it .. served by a young smiley face... we will defo be regulars. will be letting our mates know.

The fish was Awesome probably the best I've had in ages. It did take forever to get my order though and the chips definitely needed longer in the fryer.

Being from Scotland, when visiting family in secret harbour we missed our chip shop. We were recommended this one in port Kennedy just a 5 min drive away. Food was great, all made fresh to order too.

Reading the negative comments some people need a reality check.... Been in Port Kennedy for 12years and not one of the surrounding chippies in the Rockingham Area come close to what Ann and Pete supply at the Chippy. Proper cooked chips and not frozen, delicious...Fish, and other Sundries they provide. Friendly Staff always good for a laugh, gets my thumbs up.... And always will. I would recommend the chippy to anyone that asks. Keep up the good work Ann and Pete... Long live the Chippy
