Wild Coast Sun - Port Edward

Location is remote. But to find such a special place you have to go remote. It is no geared for halaal. But you can drive into the main town about 5 minutes away and order from the halaal chain restaurants. The beach almost seems untouched and untamed. The water park ks the main attraction free for hotel residents but it's closed off peak on Monday and Tuesday. Boat ride close on Monday and is additional cost. But it is a relaxing cruise and you can site as if it's a floating restaurant. The arcade or games room is very extensive. There is an indoor pool. There are monkeys and insects as you are amongst an old Forrest. so keep doors clean so you don't have trouble. The roof definitely needs work with many notable leaks. The check in was a long wait. Overall a fantastic experience and not a bad price. They seem to still have the magic from 25 years ago. With the theme and the warm African welcome.

Really enjoyed our stay there. The rooms are comfortable and accommodative. There are activities for all ages. The only turn off was the TV that kept going back to main screen while we were watching. Service: 5

The rooms are great...clean, spacious and comfortable. The entertainment and facilities are really good. Breakfast buffet is soooo tasty, but the dinner buffet at Chicos is at most 2.5 stars. Food was clearly prepared in a hurry with not much variety. Saturday is supposed to be a lamb special but unfortunately it was not. Kiddies entertainment is 5 Star. The service however is very inconsistent. Some of the staff are amazing, while others have a dont care attitude. Thankfully the team we had the pleasure of dealing with when we arrived were amazing. It is impossible to get hold of the hotel reception over the phone. The lady and gentleman who helped us secure an additional night really knew what customer satisfaction means. They were wonderful. Overall it is an awesome stay and resort. We will definitely be back.

We love staying at Wild Coast Sun. They have so much to do for the whole family gaming floor, kids games they’ve recently added a Skywalk Sky Park with rope obstacles), theatre, golf course best of all Wild Waves Water Park The rooms are spacious, cleaned daily, includes a safe very modern with all room amenities.
