AQUA Restaurant - Port Douglas

Nice restaurant with tables inside and out on the balcony. Lovely friendly staff and food nicely presented. Very nice buffet breakfast.

Was on a group Tour of 70+ people. Breakfast each morning included and 5 dinners all varying in style and food. Cannot complain although 1 dinner was not quite NZ Lamb otherwise very enjoyable. Found service at breakfast a little slow but do agree staff very busy and with all our group having breakfast included think a little extra pressure was added. All staff attending very friendly and helpful and a great array of food to suit all people. Had a bowl of wedges for a lunch and they were both delicious and plentiful.The photos show dishes from our farewell dinner.

Meals here are quite good but service at times can be slow. The buffet breakfast is exceptional with something to please everyone. Lunch and dinner is served and the barrista is consistently good.

While I'm not one for buffet style dining, we won a voucher at a local quiz night for the Aqua at the Pullman, so we thought why not. The setting is great and the Pullman is a beautiful resort. However the staff, while friendly, were not very attentive. Our water glasses were not refilled for the whole night. we had to go and get a water jug and refill our own glasses. We also had to refill our wine glasses. Staff spent a lot of time chatting to each other and other tables.The buffet itself was relatively limited. Apart from the pawn bowl, and a couple of other non- seafood dishes, the the fish plates were not refilled enough to keep up with the demand.By the time we got to desert there was very little left. However, we found out from other friends dining there that night that you can request any of the missing items.If we had have paid full price we could have eaten at great local seafood restaurants for the same price or cheaper.

Stayed at the resort and was looking forward to eating here after reading reviews. We had two kids with us so opted for early sitting. Service was terrible, took ages for kids meals. We chose the coral trout which was very good and an inedible Parmesan pannacotta. For what they charge breakfast also needs to be improved. We opted for cooking fir ourselves. Pool dude food was very good though but coffee terrible.
