Waves Coffee House Westwood

The restaurant has new owners now, and it looks significantly improved. The service is excellent, and the atmosphere is clean and peaceful. Food: 5/5.

This is my first time visiting this Wave Coffee location. I typically go to the one in Port Coquitlam with my boyfriend, but I've decided not to go back there because I feel they overcharge every time. I'm not sure how each Wave Coffee shop sets their prices. However, I will definitely return to this location because the staff is friendly, and most importantly, they always have smiles on their faces.

My experience was disappointing. I ordered a warmed-up chocolate muffin, but it ended up being very dry. When I requested some butter, the barista just stared at me, grabbed the butter, and then threw it on the counter instead of handing it to me. Her attitude was quite rude.

I visit this restaurant frequently because I enjoy it, but it seems like they don't fully appreciate the art of coffee, particularly when it comes to espresso. While I was watching the barista make my espresso, I noticed her pouring out the crema on top!?!? Why would anyone do that to a customer who is paying nearly $7 for a drink? As a result, my mocha ended up tasting like just hot chocolate….

The restaurant is exceptionally clean and quiet, and the coffee is delightful. I visited to get some work done, and I will certainly come back. Food: 5/5.
