Bidrage med feedback1) The fries were dark brown, which indicated old oil, and they were soggy. 2) The potatoes in the Slovakia dish were overcooked and definitely not marinated or roasted—they seemed more like boiled and reheated in the oven. It was unappetizing. 3) The rice was completely bland; I could have made something tastier at home. 4) The bruschetta bread was a total disaster—soggy and inedible. A proper bun should have been used, not cheap Texas toast. The only redeemable part of the meal was the tiny skewers. The calamari was decent, but that’s expected since it’s a dish that can’t be safely reheated. For $24 for a Slovakia dinner, you really expect a good meal, and this was a complete letdown.
Had family members Birthday dinner here.Food tasted great and came out reasonable fast for large table (11) with a variety of meals. Our server was attentive and very knowledgeable.
I had an amazing late dinner at this restaurant. We started with the calamari appetizer, and for our main courses, we enjoyed chicken souvlaki (served with rice, salad, and potatoes), beef souvlaki, and prawn souvlaki, followed by cheesecake for dessert. The portions were generous and absolutely delicious, living up to their description of being “bold-tasting” on their website. They even offer a kids’ menu on a drawing page, complete with crayons, which is a nice touch! What stood out to me the most was the freshness and size of the prawns—they were truly impressive. The washroom was spotless, and the customer service was outstanding. Since it was quite late, there weren’t many other diners, which allowed us to enjoy a peaceful atmosphere. I highly recommend this place!
Came here with my friends and we were all very impressed by the quality and quantity of the food that we were getting. The portions, for a bit over $20 were very good and the food tasted amazing. The service was also great. Highly recommend coming to this restaurant.
As expected, the food was tasty and good sized portions. However, the amount of food seems to be less than in the past the meat chunks on the skewers seem much smaller, and the potatoes also seem smaller. I suppose it's the same shrinkflation that's hitting everywhere else. Also, I ordered the Dinakis Souvlaki with the 3 skewers of meat for $26. But it's on special for $18 on Saturday and this was a Friday night bummer!
