Waldo Peppers - Port Clinton

Stopped in on the way home from Put In Bay. The hostess told us they were short-staffed and might take a while to serve a party of 12. The service and food was exceptional! You would have never known they were short-staffed. I had the bang bang wrap and it was delicious! I live 2 hours from this place and would drive back just for that shrimp. Also, really big portions. Kids loved it also!!

Always very delicious! Nice portion sizes and a huge menu await you. (It's almost too big! There are so many unique and tasty choices! Not happy that the lobster bisque is no longer on the menu though, because we drove 3 hours just for that! ?

We go every summer to waldo pepper when we compete in camp perry and absolutely the place that eat and love the personal. we never had a better time than last week when we stopped there to get to indiana. our server, briley, was absolutely the best of all time. she's so professional and so much fun, we'll swing on the way to home!

Eating here is good. I had a bisonburger and a gatti had a chicken bacon wrap. they have a nice selection of beer and whiskey when that is their ding. I'm here several times and I'm going to go back to the final. the service was good. we sat fast and our waiter was attentive and fast. the mood here was good, but very closed. there are no windows and there seems to be something darker than fun. the last time we were here, they had a live band and while they had fun, it was super loud, not sure if it was always like that.

My first time there, but with a group of 24 eighty-year-olds?. I never heard the names of our server, but maybe they had assigned this big group 2 server? I say that because it was very confusing when we ask ordering food runners to demand our special orders. before the order we had physically divided into 2 groups. my 1⁄2 were at tables of 6, the others sat together, buffet style. example at my table: I have my complete but simple order of veggie flatbread in the 1. Delivery sweep like 2 other complete orders of identical prime rib dinner. a person got her suppe, but long after the finish she had to ask for her salat. another got her hot philly cheese hoagie, but not her suppe, the person next to her ordered the same order, but got nothing for one because finally he got his hoagie. these 2 suppen came only after everyone had eaten, they had asked themselves. Everyone at our table enjoyed our choices. the huagies weren't hot, neither my flatbread. kudos on our server she took care of us all with geduld!
