Clinton House - Port Clinton

Clinton house has always fabulous eating and a stylish but relaxed environment. I recommend this place very for a delicious meal or for fun while drinking. I was here for brunch, lunch and dinner and enjoy it all!

We came immediately after the hurry so there were not many places to sit, but there were some empty tables that had to be cleaned. server went several times from the dirty tables before they were cleaned. it took a long time to get drinks and had to ask 3 times for creamer. for the buffet there was no amount of food when we arrived there, but they worked quickly to fill it again. once we have a bigger table for all, the service became better and the eating was pretty good.

I had really hoped that would be a good experience for seafood. that wasn't it. shocking bad hard fish plate. hair in salat (no offering of a replacement.) the fried fish was good and the server was friendly, but these are the only positive I can think.

From prime rib on prime rib night at 6pm. I could order the last pieces. orders medium rare and it came well done? had a previous experience with a burger order, so I think any kind of bark is out there.

This is our after fishing lunch spot great atmosphere and food. I enjoy the grilled chicken salad and husband loves the fries bologna sandwich. Don't forget to ask about their soup specials... The bisque is always delicious and I enjoy most the daily specials. On the weekends they have a great band selection. Friday night the prime rib is delicious.
