Magic Grounds Coffee - Port Charlotte

What a great little place! Fantastic coffee, quiches, coffee, cookies and coffee. Did I mention coffee? Come down, look at her, sit down and have a great cup of coffee.

I tried this café for the first time. I had the nitrogen infused cold brew coffee and a bacon quiz. The prices were as expected in a local cafe, perhaps somewhat lower than the national chains. The cold coffee with the nitrogen looks like a foamy glass stout when served. It has a very smooth, full body taste. It has become my personal favorite. Your regular coffee is just as good. The quiche was very good and served piping hot and there are several types to choose. The atmosphere was very nice with tables and chairs, cuddly armchairs and a beautiful couch to choose from. They welcome people for a quick cup or those who want to sit and read a book or use their phone. Unusually they sell the game Magic The Gathering and people gather in the evening for a quiet game. While the shop is new, the owner has plans to have additional activities and has installed a small raised section that could function as a stage. The owner is very pleasant and socially entertained with us. Overall, I was positively impressed and wanted to return.

Stop here every chance I get. The owners Will and Rachel are great people and always nice. They have a huge variety of options an the nitro coffee is delicious. If you like cold brew than that is worth a try. They play Magic on Friday and are always welcoming new faces to join. They even sell cards, one of the biggest collections in the area. Definitely not your typical coffee store, it's so much better.

I am a simple person when it comes to coffee. When I say I am simple that means. I drink a iced americano with no cream or sugar. This is when you truly taste the coffee. Not when it is doused with milk and sugar. Their espresso is roasted to a clean and smooth finish which yields an espresso that is NOT bitter. Great place. Great and friendly people.
