Peacocks Tavern - Port Byron

I like a good diver. Old house beer, cheap liqueurs, pool, darts, minimal entertainment, but for the people around you. A good hole in the wall is a pleasure for itself. I am not sure if I have this kind of space in my repertoire for a good slope, but I would like to do an after-work session in Peacocks Tavern until similar mentally ill colleagues agree with him. The building facade looks old. The screen door and the main door reflect this review. The bar itself does nothing to refuse this rating. The walls, bars and tables are covered in different wooden laminates, not current or popular since probably at least the 70s or 80s. The floor is a simple 1 foot square tile of pattern in any cafeteria or office building of the late 20. Years seen. There is the normal range of canned and filled beer and various liqueurs, but best is the bar ALL CASH. Didn't see a whole bar forever, and that made me happy. I like visual aesthetics, but what is even better is the sound of the place. There is no music, no loud TV that only sounds people who meet and talk in the room. It's a pub if there ever was one. I just wish I could get out of work with people. I chose a simple tanqueray and tonic that was delivered quickly. It was as solid as a mixed drink, no complaints there. The free popcorn from the machine in the corner further helped my pleasure of my selected drink. I love free, half stale, under salted bar popcorn. I've put all the experience together. I am really looking forward to stopping here in the future, possibly with other colleagues, if possible. I'm not always in the mood for this kind of room, but the overall experience, in a room like this to stop and be able to make your own fun, whether it's darts, pool or just hanging, is a certain fun, I'm and myself.
