Golden Spoon - Port Blair

My husband and I visited Golden Spoon and we had a very friendly welcome from the owner. He was happy to take his time to explain everything about his food and menu and we ended up with a nice chat about our travels and his...hometown and all the beautiful islands nearby. Had a fantastic lobster, very tasty and fresh, caught by the owner himself. 100% recommended! Thank you for having us!

I ordered a fish with butter and garlic sauce, but instead received a very spicy red curry. After requesting a replacement, they served the same fish that had been washed and cooked in a butter garlic style. The taste was awful due to being washed and cooked twice, resulting in a mushy, overcooked texture. This experience was very upsetting and has made me avoid seafood altogether. It was a disappointing visit to the Golden Spoon.

I'm a foreigner who came to Havelock every year since 2009. Since MITHUN opens Golden Spoon I come to dinner almost every evening. Food is absolutely delicious, the best in Havelock. MITHUN the owner has been operating this place since 2017 and worked very hard to... gain the confidence of customers. Karan,tandoori Koch is the best Tandoori manufacturer on the island.. Do not miss this restaurant when you visit Havelock. With all the love for people who work on this place. Yolanda

This restaurant serves the best food you will ever taste. Karan is an exceptional tandoori cook, and Mitun is an incredible owner/worker/manager. The entire staff is friendly and amazing.

The food was exceptionally good. We even got offered to taste some of their other specialties. We ate in many restaurants around the globe. This one ranks as one of the top ones. We went there once for lunch and the next day for dinner....Devine.
