Tarpon Grill - Port Aransas

La Barataria is a fantastic spot for a meal! During my visit, I ordered the grilled chicken breast, which came with creamy corn, garlic potatoes, and a side of caramelized carrots. The chicken was large, tender, and juicy, with a wonderful flavor. The creamy corn was among the best I've ever tasted, and the potatoes were light, fluffy, and perfectly seasoned. The carrots were a delightful addition that complemented the other dishes beautifully. Overall, the food left me wanting more. I would definitely recommend this place!

I absolutely loved it! The portions are massive—two people can easily share any dish. The food was incredible, and I can't even find the right words to describe how beautifully the place is decorated. It's simply the best. I will definitely be going back!

I loved everything about my experience! I was there yesterday evening, and our server was exceptional, as was the food. They truly knocked it out of the park! I’m definitely planning to return and sit at the bar for a few drinks the next time I'm in town. It's also the perfect spot to grab some drinks before heading across the street to dance at Bernie’s. Overall, it was an excellent experience!

Unbelievable meal! My husband had mignon the bone-in file with garlic potatoes and asparagus. Absolute perfection....it is not usual to find a bone-in file mignon and this was cooked for perfection. I had the Jumbo scallops that were amazing. The wine card is extensive and they also have a full bar. Great atmosphere, relaxed, demanding... this cook really knows her business! We make La Barataria a restaurant when we visit Port A!!

Great food, nice atmosphere. As busy as Port A is, it was nice to sit upstairs outside for a no-wait dinner. Breeze and later in day--around 7 PM helped. Highly recommend!
