Boston Pizza - Port Alberni

I had an excellent dining experience here. The place is clean and well kept. Everyone was smiling and very nice to talk to. The food was good, everything was cooked properly and presented nicely. It arrived in less than 15 mins. To me, that is exceptional, especially because of how nicely everything was prepared.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly

I am typically wary of larger restaurant franchises like this one when it comes to quality and service. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the good service and decent food at this restaurant. I am glad that it is one of the few late-night dining options in Port Alberni. I would definitely return here.

The service at this restaurant is great! I especially enjoy the atmosphere here, especially on game night. While the food at Boston Pizza is usually on the pricier side, I still love coming to this specific location. Their pizza and pasta dishes are delicious, and I especially recommend the Mac N' Cheese.

The food was mediocre overall, but my wife's gluten-free pizza was terrible. The crust was dry, hard, and bitter. The service was satisfactory, although we were surprised when a mandatory 15% gratuity was automatically added to the bill. It was unclear if this policy was communicated prior to ordering, as we were not aware of it. There was no option to decline or adjust the gratuity percentage, but additional gratuity could be added if desired. It is worth noting that the gluten-free pizza crust was nearly inedible due to its hard, dry, and bitter texture.
