Bidrage med feedbackWe went to the Port Anchor for a catch up with family at Easter. IT IS NOT DISABLED FRIENDLY, and it would have been nice to be told when we booked. I had considerable trouble trying to get up the 3 big steps to get in and I saw others with walkers that had problems too. The Hotel was extremely busy and the menu was extensive. My mother had the salt and pepper squid and it was inedible. It was so tough. She advised the waitress but no more was said. No apology from the kitchen. No reund or meal replacement. Then she ordered a hot chocolate and it was luke warm. Again she advised the waitress but no more was said. An apology or a refund would have been nice.On the whole the food wa average to say the least
I live in a retirement village and a group of us had booked a lunch here about 12 mths ago, well I fell in love with the food and the hospitality, they know what service is, since then I and my wife have been back no fewer than 7 times and I had brought more of my friends from the village and they all loved the place, in fact I have booked to have lunch with my wife at the best Hotel in Adelaide this Thursday, The Port Anchor. Great job guys keep it up. cheers jack
We work locally and we love this place, staff are always friendly. The food and especially the salad bar with the hot vegetables as well, is always a hit. The food is always fresh and the place is exceptionally clean. Can't wait for it to open again. Fantastic pub Congratulations to the owners Jeff Vicki.
We attended this Hotel for my grand daughters birthday/It was as a family gathering of 12. Service was very good and choice of menu and salad bar was very moorish. We enjoyed our meal and will return.
We went to this hotel to celebrate a grand daughters birthdya. A small pub with limited but comfortable eating area. The food was quite nice and it seemed as though nothing was too hard for the staff in pleasing the customers.
