Plimmerton Fish Supply - Porirua

My boyfriend's family has been living in Paremata for years and are loyal fans of this restaurant. We've dined here three times during our holiday in New Zealand, and we are absolutely hooked! The food is consistently excellent. Everything we've tasted, both from our plates and our friends' plates, has been delicious and authentically Indian. From the Madras and Butter Chicken to the Naans, Korma, and Jalfrezi—seriously, you can't go wrong! The restaurant is never overly busy, and they also offer takeaway for those on the go. A helpful tip: it's BYO, so feel free to bring along some great wine. They also have a good selection of beers. Be sure to ask for Amrit—she is incredibly friendly and helpful! My personal favorites are the Chicken Madras, Lamb Rogan Josh, Garlic Naan, and Peshwari Naan. Enjoy! :D

This is undoubtedly one of the best Indian meals we've enjoyed in many years. The service was incredibly friendly and efficient, and the quality of the food was outstanding. We tried the onion bhaji, chicken nilgri, and chicken Kashmir, all of which were excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We're visiting from Canada and taking a driving tour of New Zealand. This restaurant was recommended by the B&B we stayed at, and it was just a quick 10-minute drive away. We're so glad we decided to have dinner here! The food was outstanding! The portion sizes were fair, and the flavors were fresh. We ordered the lamb korma and lamb mint curry, along with butter naan and garlic naan, and everything was perfect. We left feeling very satisfied with our meal!

Great service and delicious food! The fries were excellent. Despite the busy summer heat, the staff remained friendly, helpful, and attentive. We'll definitely come back and highly recommend this place!
