Anna's Pizza Italian - Poquoson

Only giving three stars not because the food is bad or that the service is bad. This place isn't my go to place for pizza. The pizza isn't bad and the subs are above average. The times I have been here it's been enjoyable. I should go more often

Covid Rating: 7/11/2020- 5/5 ALL employees had masks on and never took them off or had them below their nose. They wore them while getting food, drinks and acting as cashier. They had tables spaced out very well. You could only sit at tables with place mats. Menus were being wiped down after every use. There was sanitizer as you walked in the first set of doors. They did a great job! Yelp Review: This is located by the dollars tree. We were going there but, decided to go have lunch there and check them out. They sell slices for $1.99 and a small salad for $2.99. You can totally eat for $5. The pizza was great, and it had the oil dripping slightly, it was pepperoni and I like when there is a little grease dripping my husband enjoyed his lasagna. I had the chicken parmigiana. It was good, but the chicken patty was a little dry and over cooked. My son had chicken fingers and fries, big chicken fingers! They were nice and crispy. The garlic cheese bread was so good! I love their house bread. We will certainly be returning!

We have came here for many years. The food is always the same and is very consistent. They have different Subs, salads, pizza, and the traditional pasta meals. We ordered baked ziti (asked for extra sauce) and it comes with fresh bread. We usually ask for extra bread as well to eat with our leftovers. They have a great house dressing which you're able to buy for 6.99 if you wanna take a bottle home. My sister ordered a calzone with just cheese and it had marinara sauce to dip on the side. We had a party of 7 and we were seated within a minute. They were not very busy then. After we got our food the service went down hill, we didn't get drink refills. They did have a few other tables set which seemed to be overwhelming for the 2 waitresses. We went to the counter to ask for boxes and refills for our drinks. Our waitress did come back and get us the last few things we needed. I will keep it 4 stars because it seemed to be understaffed and not their fault.

I've always liked Anna's pizza. Great food and great service. What else is there to ask for?

It sucked! Greek salad was chopped iceberg lettuce with wilted tomatoes and plain black olives and feta. No oregano. No pepperoncini. Pizza came out with the salad after we insisted the salad came first. Pizza was less than warm and the did take it back and cook a new one. Youre Italian. Have some pride. You wouldnt eat this **** at home. We know. Lived in Vicenza for 3 yrs. Look to your family who run Mama Rosa's!
