Taco John's - Poplar Bluff

The lobby was clean, the staff friendly, the food was hot and tasty ?Vegetarian options: There are black bean options on the menu, and substitutions didn't seem to be an issueParking: There were two handicapped parking spaces directly in front of the door.

Went for the first time. Wife and i ordered. She got a taco salad combo. Mabey 1 teaspoon of beef. Rest was salad mix. I ordered a supposedly big burritto. Not the boss. Stone cold. Potates were also cold. We only live 15 minuets from resturant. So food should not have been refigerator cold. This was at about 5pm when we ordered our dinner.

When we got home, I called the restaurant to complain, but they told me I needed to bring the food back. I explained that I live about 30 miles away and didn’t want to make that trip again. The employee said she would speak with a manager who had been there longer and would call me back in five minutes, but that call never came. When I reached out again, the person on the other end was quite rude and told me, “There is nothing we can do.” It’s really disappointing to be treated this way as a customer. I can confidently say we won’t be returning.

The food was cold, but to their credit, I believe they were training two or three new staff members. Normally, the quality is much better than this.

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. We were charged for extra meals that we didn't order, and what we received was cold, as if it had just come out of the fridge. The staff was also quite rude.
