Las Margaritas - Poplar Bluff

A friend had told me that Las Margaritas had just been extensively rebuilt in Poplar Bluff, so since the Van Buren restaurant was closed by the flood, we decided to try. What we found was a beautiful remodel with new furniture and wall paintings, made famous. Beautiful Mexican tiles and spectacular Portico's leads into their new dining room. The food is even better than ever and very generous portions. Our waiter, Eddy, was very helpful, timely and efficient, a good for the institution. The portrait of Don Fernandez was nice to see prominently. Excellent building, excellent waiting staff and superior food... What is that?

I just want to give credit where it’s due. I had a small issue with my meal at Las Margaritas in PB, but it was nothing major. My server seemed too busy to notice why I hadn’t eaten my food. However, when the cashier/manager inquired about my experience, he offered to comp my lunch, which I really appreciated. That’s why I decided to come back.

Without a doubt, this is my favorite restaurant in the city! We adore Abbie; she's an excellent server and always greets us with a friendly smile.

The food was fantastic, and the waitstaff and chef were both wonderful. It's a great spot for a family meal!
