Fishin' Pig - Poplar Bluff

We just arrived in the area and decided to try this restaurant for the first time. My husband and I were really impressed. I ordered the smoked chicken, which was juicy and not at all dry like I've experienced at other places. The macaroni and cheese was fantastic, and the coleslaw had a sharp yet delicious flavor. My husband opted for the enormous burger—seriously, it was huge! He said it was so good that he loved the bun it came with. We will definitely be coming back!

Feel like we got a true vip service. Sampler appetizer was at our table and drinks within 5 mins! We both ordered pork steak platter they were tender and smoked to perfection! No sauce even needed. Food was plentiful, and taste amazing. Waitress was top notch even with a full house. 10/10 best date night dinner ever. We will def be back

The food and service were excellent. The pork on my sandwich was tender and paired well with the nice bread. I inquired about ordering the sandwich without cheese sauce, but it came with it anyway. While I wasn't keen on the cheese, the sandwich was still tasty. The fries were fantastic. The baked beans could use a little improvement, but they were still quite enjoyable. I definitely plan to dine here again.

Our dinner was absolutely fantastic! We started with fried green tomatoes and fried pickles, and the portions were generous while the food was delightful! Our server was also incredibly attentive and friendly!

This was our first trip here, and pulling up to the place and seeing all of the cars in the lot, generally speaking means you are in for a treat. We were not disappointed. After a short wait to be seated we ordered drinks and food amd took in the smells that were coming from the kitchen. We were definitely ready to dig in when our food arrived. I opted for the port steak plate and my wife had the pulled chicken nachos. The pork steak was well rubbed and cooked to perfection. The chicken on the nachos was outstanding. There is a bit of spice in the meats and many of the sides, so if you can't handle any spiciness, you may want to opt for something more tame. Looks like they also serve up a ton of catfish as well. Service was quick and friendly, always a plus! We will definitely return the next time we are in the area!
