Bidrage med feedbackI went to this restaurant with some friends for a late night meal. We decided to try it out since it looked decent. Unfortunately, the food was cold and very tough, even after a few drinks. I'm not sure who was working that night, but I would recommend skipping this place if you're looking for something better.
Now known as Gourmet Wok, this restaurant still has the same management as before. It has about six tables that can accommodate up to 40 people. While they offer an à la carte menu, the best option is their buffet which includes a variety of starters, two soups, main dishes, and desserts. The buffet selection includes items such as smoked chicken strips, spring rolls, spare ribs, and duck with pancakes. The dishes are good but not exceptional, and they come with a choice of sauces and meat/vegetarian options. The service is friendly but can be slow when the restaurant is busy. The drink selection is limited and the Chinese tea is strong. Overall, the food is acceptable, the service is friendly but slow, and the value is good.
Opened in late 2015, this restaurant offers affordable Chinese dishes for takeout or cooked to order at a fixed price buffet. I have visited a few times and find it to be much better than similar Chinese restaurants in my hometown in central England. The menu offers the standard Chinese fare, with the option to choose the type of meat and up to 18 different sauces. The selection includes chow mein, egg foo young, chop suey, curry dishes, soups, and appetizers, providing a wide range of choices. The food is cooked to order, so there may be a slight delay in service. Although I have not tried the buffet, it appears to be a good option as well.
