Bidrage med feedbackI stopped this restaurant on my way to Chicago after the campsite in the Ozarks. I eat quite often in various Denny's restaurants all over the country and after a long weekend of the camping price I was looking forward to sitting on a good old Denny's Sirloin Steak. I ordered that. The food itself was good. That's what I like about big chain divers: If you have a more common one, you know quite exactly what you want, where you go. Now about the service and especially the management in this place on this day (Labor Day 2022). The restaurant was pretty busy and there was only one server in service. It took forever until my food arrived. I mean, I get it; with Covid everyone is short. At first I was pretty crossed to my server, but when I saw what happened, I realized that my frustration was directed to the wrong person. I saw that the manager has more and more new customers without pitching in to help this server. At one point I saw 9 tables filled with people. To make it even worse after the server tried to keep everything with a smile on her face, the manager began to dress it right down at the check-out counter. She didn't yell at her, but I couldn't believe it. Instead of helping the server and taking a table or running food, the manager told the server that she didn't do good work and all that went wrong was the server's fault. I was livid. I hope that the small server (which has totally overhauled its back) will find a better job somewhere where its hard work is appreciated!
Absolutely HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!! my food was ordered wrong. They repaired my order. Sa at the table waiting for a refill of my drink that never happened. When I finished eating, I asked a to-go box and after 10 minutes I never got one. I have to go to checkout to get a to-go box and the waitress ran off with my food. I asked my check that was $18, and she just smuggled and said I'm sorry to take off with your food. Paid the bill and never went back. They are thieves or food bands.
Denny's classic All-American Grand Slam breakfast, which I can say more. Four stars for really ingenious service!! I took off a star because who's in the kitchen burned my pancakes.
We never had such bad services. When we arrived, we were told that I can't take your order for 15 or 20 minutes, because our cook is behind, but you can wait if you want. Our waiting time was 45 minutes instead of 15. There were less than 6 tables. When we were finished, the cook came out and asked how many left and was told... his answer was you can wait until ___ is here.
Beautiful Grass area, perfect for a picnic. I was meditating in that grass area in the back, when the manager came out asked me to move behind a tree because I was in view of her customers. I wasn't doing anything wrong, but OK. No need for me to patronize this energy by supporting a place that has no compassion.... Owner, i do upgrade reviews accordingly
